Its rather dull (as far as blades go), and the handle does not feel perfectly stable. (P.S. I haven't killed a bear with it yet, but I bet I could. Overall this is a very great sword, beautiful and strong, and was delivered quickly . lol. Simply pop off the top plate on the handle, shim the inside of the wooden handle, use some liquid glue to fill the void and reattach the top but add a lock washer. Handel was loose and the leather wrapping unrivaled after the first day. 221.00, 260.00 It was still able to cleave most of the way through the box it came in and it cut through a water bottle with no issue. Great sword for the money! this sword did extremely well with all three, how ever i would not recomend the nails very often because the chance of missing the nail and hitting the brick is too high the brick actually flatted the 420 stainless steel blade. NOT TO MENTION I GOT MINE IN ONLY 2 DAYS!! All in all I would never recommend anyone to buy this unless to use it as a wall hanger or a movie prop because the blade is made of a cheap metal and the handle is basically leather and glue. Also be careful of the plate at the end of the pommel, it can come off is one has too much vibration from hitting an object. and this is definatly a sword that fits.
